I think toxage was joking there.... right? At least I hope so, since I seriously doubt Anet is lacking on funds after selling what, like 5 million copies so far...?

As pointed out, a.net would actually make MORE money if you just bought Prophecies and GW:EN seperately (or just Prophecies alone).
Toxage, every single post you make is a troll, and often has huge logic flaws like this one. No one takes you seriously. I think you are an employee for a revial company being paid to insult GW on forums.

4) Character slots. Arena Net denied customers character slots so we would be forced to use in game store to purchase them.

I think it was aliens, while we're speculating wildly.

They have to pay for server bandwidth and for at least 130 designers working on GW2 till it is finished. I have no idea how much that costs a month.

1) Bonus Mission Pack was free actually. Then people whined when they missed out (overseas people exempt from this since it wasn't a common type of payment for some of them) so they slapped a price tag on it. Imo because they wanted the original people who took ahold of the offer to benefit.
2) Server lag? I have no problem with lag. Might want to check your computer/internet.
3)Proof? Oh and there's this thing they're working on. Not sure if you've heard of it. Called Guild Wars 2
4) What the hell are you talking about here? Custom Character slots? that doesn't even make sense.
Please go away. All you ever do is whine and bitch on this site.

You forgot
5) ANet constructing an ENIGMA protocol system in their AREANET 51 lab space. Clearly they are desperate for money and are engaging in flouride contamination projects to compliment project MAGIC 12.
I want to believe.
EDIT: Oh I did also have a non-witty response before I got sidetracked. I just wanted to mention that the Target right next to where I work still sells GWEN for 29.99, nothing "discontinued" about it. I think its just a localized Target affair. They price things weird anyways.

Obviously Anet is low on funds. That's why they are kidnapping kids and harvesting their organs for sale in the blackmarket.

Well I'm almost certain that I saw a shelf full of GW:EN boxes in a 'Game' in the UK yesterday, I see no reason why they would stop producing them, nor why selling the remaining stock really cheap would be a good move if that were the case.
I tend to find that reasonably popular stuff that companies have lots of gets sold cheap, if they only have a few copies left ever, then really they can charge however much they like because soon enough they will be selling the only ones left for sale.
I also don't see why they would be discontinued if they are still selling well, the selling price would still be sufficient to make money.
I also find it unlikely that "they" would have run out of boxes so soon after release, stores still have prophecies, factions and nightfall boxes, I wouldn't expect them to have less of a newer product.
Also please post your name and address so I may start the legal proceedings...

While I was in Best Buy, looking for the Age of Conan pre-order, I saw Guild Wars, Factions, Nightfall, GW:EN, Guild Wars Platinum (GW/GW:EN bundle), and Factions Platinum (GW/Factions bundle)... all of them were there..
I imagine we'll see a NF Platinum, but I think a full GW bundle (GW, Factions, Nightfall, GW:EN) would be neat to start out with for new players. btw, forgot to mention that the Factions bundle also had the bonus mission pack in it.
